Any thing thats got loads of colour in it so you know its not straight petrol!
Ive had mix that you were not sure if it had been mixed or not it was so pale

I use only the Aspen Alky fuel, premixed to 50:1 with high quality synth oil anyway - works perfect even with the 1970 621 speced at 25:1 - but that one has a Mahle Nikasil jug, unlike most saws of that age...

Mahle rocks!

Err here petrol comes from pumps 95RON unleaded or 98RON super ive never seen any other way to buy fuel
ive had Husqvarna oil and partner oil they are nearly black
Oregon semi synthetic which is dark red
and the usual Stihl oils
Its the emergency bought at petrol station oils that are mearly colour less

Well - I just buy the Orange or Red Aspen 5 litre cans....

Well he asked for color and I see that he got what he asked for in the way of rep. Negative rep that is and it's a nice deep red!!!:dizzy:

Is your pump petrol no good? I always read about the americans having fuel go bad, But never witnessed it here.
Whats so special about aspen?


You might be referring to fuel going bad as meaning when our fuel is oxygenated, and its sits unused, the fuel splits, hydrogen evaporates off, and water can condense.
