Steve here...
My buddy came over with his little Sony TRV22, and took a couple short clips of my 088KD going thru a 10" White Cedar round in about .9

Steve,
Looks like you got'er run'in good, looks to me like you need bigger wood that that beast.
gotta get one of those digital recorders.
nice job keep'em comming.

ok Tom if you say so
now what am i to look out for the 088 or the white cedar
but that was a good shoot of a saw running the film was not jerking like it does with the rest
yes i do think i have a race now with the 346
you may be faster but i will be close
i should be able to cut 10 unch in .85 to .90 in cedar
gypo where is the pipe for your 088 so you can have a race to
i think we will leave the 3120 strokers out of this

i could being down some of our high test white cedar
at 10 inches around it will only have a 9. 5 inch hole in it
cedar doesnot like it here
i have never cut cedar with a race chain

thats impressive .. understatement..
now how about a still shot of that bar an chain.. or is that gonna be ,,asking a bit much..

Steve are you going to Eagle River next month
you will need a longer bar it is either 15 inch or 16 inch whitepine
3 cuts coldstart with 6 inch of wood to cut in

Hi Ed, thats true the KD 084 is very fast. Mike and John Rupley had a good laugh when they saw me running it. It was hilarious. The first race I entered and Ken set me up with the saw.
Now all I need is to pry a header off of Ken so I can fit the pipe on my 088KD.
John

If you know Eagle River then you would know about the race track where the snowmobiles run
it is a 2 day show
they run the chainsaws the first day and if you win then you can run your chainsaw in the bike class now
they change the rules last year
it is a good show as long as it is warm
it is all white pine
have not got any papers on it yet but will tell you when i do ok

that is about the normal temp. for there or it is raining
just being lots of clothes because it is always windy there and not sure if it is on T.V. this year

Hi Steve, nice cut, you even had enough time in the video to make at least another. Can I borrow your header, Ken is fast no matter how long it takes.
John
