Stihl Bar Part #?.

Just went to the local dealer for a bar for my MS660. He quoted me $46 for the 20" on the phone. When I showed up he gave me the 20" bar with yellow label on it. The part # is 3003 000 9622 . The price in the computer was higher. I bought it for the 46 + a chain. I can't seem to find this part # anywhere online. He said it is a laminated bar but it is a Rollomatic ES. Is the part# just an old stock #? It's a 3/8 X .50 Did I make out ok?

Ive never sold that bar, but it is a good #. MSRP is $50.99.

Any Idea what's with the odd #? It lists the 034 -066 on it.

Its a "wide nose rollomatic es, designed to provide better boring capacity for the professional". I usually sell the 3003-000-8822 which is the standard rollomatic es

I have a good amount of experience cutting but am definately not a pro. Should I keep this wide tip bar or bring is back for the green one (Small nose one)? I don't plan on any plunge cutting.

Yep, that's the stihl fat nose bar.. I would keep it, great price and great for plunge cutting.

Plus it looks more stout than a 8822 bar.
