Whats the part # for the inside exhaust casting that has the larger "side" port on it?? 660!!

how much bigger is the old style 660 inner cover "pre eps" over the newer inn exhaust cover??

Just get the front cover, it's outlet can be made bigger if needed.

with patience the side outlet can be enlarged on the rear half as well.
with a little more patience (and black stove pipe) you can extend the shroud on the side outlet too.

Yup, but the front cover is soooo much easier to mod.

ps: I did search - it's like a needle in a hay stack. the 660 muffler sizes, mods, part numbers should be a sticky.. They should make a sticky folder with the diff muffler mod details i it!

there are 3 carbs in the book.. which one on a new 660 - which brings a question on the current jet?? what size??

Did I make a mistake. I just bought the WOJO muffler off eBay. About the same price as the Stihl. I would also like to buy the pre limiter carb. Is the WJ 67 OK if I can find one or would the WJ 76 with the larger fixed jet be better if I can find one. Or, is there another? Sorry for the high jacking.

Return the eBay piece, and get the Stihl. I only paid $83 for mine.
