011AV Bar oil leakage

I recently bought a 011 AV at a garage sale for $5.00. It wouldn't start-No compression caused by scored piston. With some great help from the forum, I replaced rings, polished out the piston and cleaned up the cyclinder. Runs pretty good now, I will rebuild the carb next. I have a problem with oil dripping out of the oil hole next to the bar. When I rev the saw, with the bar in place (no chain), oil just drips from the saw. Any suggestions?

Are you saying oil is dripping out of another hole other than the chain oiler hole? From your description it sounds like it's working right, oil is suppose to drip out of the hole next to your bar to lube it. And a thought for you when you rebuild your carb the base gaskets are not included in the carb kit they are sold seperate. might save an extra trip!
