Hi,

I created a one from two 028 Super. It starts, runs and idles strong, but will not oil. I have changed the pick-up and filter and swapped in another pump. I have cleaned the oiler spiggot with a small wire and a pipe cleaner, and still nothing. Any other suggestions of what to look for or what may be going on here?

Thank you!

Have you checked to make sure the gear is not spinning on the worm?

How do I perform this check? I did change / swap the gear / wheel that connects to pump and clutch bell. It is engaging when I rev the throttle and the mating gears for both seem fine.

Is there a difference between the clutch bell from an 028 WB (which it came from) and a clutch bell for an 028 Super?

As noted all the oiler components appear to mate and work fine, I just cannot figure out why it will not discharge any oil.

Any other suggestions or diagnostics would be helpful.
