I adjusted the carb acording to the manual. 1 turn counterclockwise on the high and low. The saw runs great but after a while it gets pretty hot, how far counterclockwise should I turn it so that it doesn't run hot? Or how far should I turn it so that I dont damage it?

Is it fourstroking at wide open throttle?

If you have the carb adjusted according to the following link,
maybe the timing is off. Point or Electronic?

I'm no expert, just killing time till one comes around.

Other causes:
Dirty cooling fins,
blocked air flow from flywheel,
dull chain,
A couple years ago I was using my 032 to cut some cottonwood stumps as close the the ground as possible. I kept hitting hidden rocks and dulling the chain. The saw; chain, bar and all got smoking hot when I kept trying to force it to cut with a dull chain.
