Yes, it uses the same 3003 bar mount as your 460. They are a very nice old saw. Here's some motivation for you. You just gotta love that idle! This one's pretty much all original. It's a Super with a few more CCs.

I never had to find a hand guard for one but, the spikes are easy to find.

As usuall it looks new when you get through with it, What paint did you use and do you know a source for the old badge or handgaurd. i'm glad my other bars will fit. I have one that will look good when it's finished.

Not sure about the dealers but, they have always been available on eBay cheap since there are quite a few around. There are several versions, the west coast style is a little harder to find and more costly, as usual.

This ones got paint completely gone in a few places, So it's going to have the paint to look really nice. Of course it's never gonna look as nice as you'res cause i don't know what i'm doing.lol But i'm going to try anyway.

Got to learn somewhere? The first saw I repainted, I think, was a 045 Super. When I found this one in this condition, I sold that one. I have one as a reminder of the 045 my Dad ran cutting firewood when I was younger. I don't use it for work, although it's fully capable.

Another question, On chainsaw collectors site it says the oil ratio is 40 to 1. Will i hurt it running 50to 1 like all my others. Thanks

Won't hurt a thing. Oils are better than they were when that spec was written. You can run 50:1 in you old saws callinf for 16:1 or 20:1. All they had back then was 30W engine oil.

what was the difference in the intended market for the 041/051/075 and the 03#(0,1,2's)/045 series of saws. they overlapped inproduction and are appear to be comparable in size and use?
