hi everybody i just had to share my good luck i bought a 046 mag today for 150:00 the guy said he brought awhile back to cut some trees that fell down and it was to heavy to use all the time i took it out and sawed a cord with it today sure runs good alot more power than my 029 but only a little over a pound heavier

Sounds like you got a good deal. I paid $350, I think, for an 046M about 2 years ago in almost new condition. It was replacement for my stolen 371XP, I'd say they would run about neck and neck. You are correct about the weight, they don't weigh much more than the 290,310,390 series and it's a much, much better saw.
