I'm putting a old 066 flat top back together out of boxes of parts. I got 3 different cards that fit, does it matter at all? One is a wj48 one is a wj35A and the newest is wj6? I can't remember the last number. I tried all three and one of them is going to haft to have a kit put in it.

Thanks.

I am most familiar with WJ 69A. It has standard limiter caps and intelecarb cover on the carb. It is what I see most on newer 066s/660s. Some reason I remember using a WJ67 off an 066 for an alky saw too, it was fine as well.

Flowing more fuel won't help even if they did which I don't think they really will anyway.

Limiter caps are real easy to pull, just line the tabs on the caps up with the slots and pull them with a small hook or dry wall screw. Then trim off the tabs on the sides of the caps and plug them back in.

Good advice though go with the carb that is looking to be in best shape, it is super easy to pull the top and bottoms of the carbs just to have a peak at conditions inside too.

That is a good idea.

No big deal.

Limit cap carb and non-limit cap carb, each use their own Grommet.
(Black thing you stick screwdriver in to adjust carb)

The wj-69 I used on a friends flattop I built last year just seemed to have better responce then the original that was on it.

Maybe imagination but it seemed snapier and more accurate.

Both carbs were in good shape.

Just trim off the limiter tabs.
