066 Carnage!!!! NOT for the weak at heart!!!

A friend asked me to help work up a blow-down he was given.
I threw the ol' 066 in the truck and off I went.
Gassed up, cranked the saw and let it warm up. Then I cut for about 30 seconds and.......
It made an awful sound and just quit.
I pulled the muffler and found this.

Nice looking crack in the case. Can't wait to see the teardown and remnants of the piston.

Spray it off with a hose and JB Weld it up and you should be good to go!
