Long time lurker, first time poster. I started milling with a Logosol Timberjig in 14" butternut today. I'm using a low profile ripping chain from Logosol (Stihl PMX) on a 16 inch bar. I have a used 066 that is stage 3 modified by Dean at WHS. Saw runs good and the setup is good. Question is this: I'm not sure I'm getting the expected oil flow to the chain. With bar removed, and adjustable oil control to max, I get good flow out the port. With bar and chain installed, I can get oil to sling off the tip, but not as much as I would expect, and I go through one whole tank of gas and my oil tank is only 1/3 empty. I know the saw is a gas hog and I'm running it a bit rich to keep it cool, but I'm just wondering if there is any way to test to make sure the oil pump is up to spec? Thanks for the help.
