SUCCESS!!!
After 3 decomp valves and 6 weeks I finally got one that doesn't leak! This one felt better right out of the envelope. The shaft is tight in the bore unlike the last two. I did a vacuum test on the saw after assembly and the needle holds. What a relief.
I did a thourough test. This picture was taken with low vacuum right after I got it together.
I didn't have a lot of time so I got the carb on and called it a day.
After lunch we left for an anniversary overnight in Monterey. I won't get to the saw until Sunday afternoon. It feels good to get over thie decompression valve hurdle.
