i'm restoring a 1612 skilsaw chainsaw. after cleaning, sandblasting & repainting i got it all together & tried cranking it & after several pulls the crankcase filled up with bar oil! i did some research and found out these saws had a problem with the bar oil check valve going bad? anyone have any doings with these old saws?
