thanks for reading. i wanted to know if someone could help me ? the throttle broke at the governor, i hooked it back up with the spring and when i pull the throttle out about a quarter inch my motor revs way to high. does somebody know where i can get info or pictures on this situation ? thanks a lot

I beleive that altec took over the chipper model and his still making the basic chuck and duck or whisper chipper model so you might try them.

Been a while, but It sounds like you have it hooked to the wrong place, throttle cable should go to one arm and that puts tension on spring arm that is attached to carb flap, possible you lost the spring inbetween when cable broke? good luck

yup, throttle cable hooks to the horozontal lever, carb hooks to the verticle one, make sure it has oil in it if it leaks, dont overfill, or it will start leaking!
