I am in desperate need of a new or used feeder drum for my 1995 Morbark Model 17. Does anyone know where i can find one in the New York area. The machine runs great and to get one from Morbark it will cost me 4 grand wich with diesal price i really cant afford now. Please help!! and thanx:greenchainsaw: :help:

Do you mean the feed roller with the teeth on it that pulls stuff in or the drum with the blades on it that chips the stuff??? Cannt imagine the feed roller could cost $4K. Couldnt imagine that any welding shop would charge more than $1K to fab it..................

How did yours get messed up and how bad is it??? Any pictures??

What's wrong with the one you have?

Sounds like something that could be fabricated or repaired at 4K. Have you tried that route?
