I have a 2009 sc252 that the clutch wont engage.. Worked fine until one day... This model has operator presence handles which appear to be working fine. The light enabling the clutch lights up and goes away with touch.. Like it always did. Another condition that had to be met was the engine had to be under a certain rpm to engage or light would just flash when you hit the switch.. So if engine was at full or close to full throttle it wouldn't engage.. Light just flashes when you try.. Well now that is what it does all the time. Just flashes when hitting up on the switch.. Even with engine running and idling. It seems that its not getting the engine rpm signal. Also confirming that is the auto sweep used to work and now it doesn't either. Been running the machine with a toggle switch with power wires going directly to clutch and that works fine.. So clutch is good for sure. So Im thinking the computer isn't getting the engine rpm signal or the computer went bad mysteriously..? Any ideas how to figure out where my problem lies?
