Hi everyone,
I bought a new 2252 last week. It runs like a champ and came with a.058mil bar and chain. the problem is that if I put a 050mil bar the chain is pinched and won't spin.
I tried with several different bars and same problem. could it be the saw ?
Any help appreciated.

Sounds like you have tried narrow kerf bars bars with regular .050 chain? That combination is NO-GO on many saw models (including the 2252), even though it can be done on some.

The bar combo I'm trying to fit is jonsered 15inch 325 64DL .050mil 508 92 63-64 along with a 23RSC or 23RMC chain.
Why it would fit on other saws: 2150, 2152,2252, 2153,2253, 353, 346XP, 550xp, and not on my 2252 , I don't get it !

That is a NK bar, it isn't meant to fit regular .325 chain like those you mentioned, it is just a coinsidense when it does.

My cs2252 takes any small mount bar and chain i put on it as long as they are both compatible.

This is the reason I keep my NK bars and chains in a completely different place to my regular bars and chains. It can be hard enough understanding pitch, gauge and what fits what without making it harder on yourself.

In what manner is the chain pinched? Is it that the rim sprocket can not position itself directly behind the bar?

Likely a matter of too little space made between the powerhead and the clutch cover by the narrower bar, for a regular .325 chain.

Keep in mind that combination of bar and chain isn't supposed to be used in the first place - so it is just a fluke when it works.

OK I have Husky 16inch .325 .050 508 92 61-66 bar with a h20 chain..
Should you try to measure these things, they are inch measurements, i.e. .050", .058", .063", .325". So a cheapie caliper will help.
Always a good idea to know the units.

The chain is pinched between the plastic fastener behind the clutch cover and the powerhead. this same bar and chain spins perfectly with my 550xpg.

The fluke has been working for years with all my husqvarna and jonsered saws and now my new 2252 won't take it.
