Since I see you have an L65, I'll say that a couple of mine have 24" bars, and they'll pull it, but they need a port job to do it with some authority.. I find 24" is a nice size... I have a 26 on the 064, and a 33" on the 61...
Unless you're in really tough wood, I don't see the point of having a big powerhead with a small bar, it's just a lot of weight to carry and a lot of bending over.. (Cant racing an exception)... If I'm going to have a 16-20" bar, it'll be on a 45-55cc saw that's light.
