35+ the ride ... yes you have to cut the rear of the cover to allow fit ... remember , by removing the plastic baffle and stock filter you will allow the engine more air ... this equals improved throttle response and more powa ! Anywhere from 8% + gains and up ! Moreso if it is working in conjunction with my builds ... you actually get a slight “super-charging” effect from the 4th order harmonics .... I’ve made timed cuts with the stock filter/baffle and then with the kit installed ... On my ported 261c it was over 10% gains in cut times ... the 241c was about 8% with test done same way ... I expect my 362c to gain 12-15% but need circlips to reassemble it ... I wood expect gains on a stock saw because you wood be flowing more air but none of my saws are stockHow much for one without a filter that would go straight into the trash IE just the adapter? I’m going to find an afe dry filter that fits and sell them at 200% markup
Also do I have to hack off the top of my 261cm or no
Thanks
its a rather lengthy discussion, so ... no ... however feel free to do your own research ! The info is available on the net .... suffice to say the concept is similar to how an expansion chamber operates by supercharging the engine at a given rpm range ...Can you explain the 4th order harmonics in better detail please
Yah down with oh pee eee ? Yeah you know me !these are not my pictures, we use mommas washing machine for a workbench as depicted in above video, sorry for the misrepresentation.
Ah yes ! Lookie what Mr Postman dropped off today !!! View attachment 694807
Ah yah , someone else lol ! Maybe he just don’t know how to oil em ?I thought that you didn't like K&N filters?
Or....was that someone else?
video showing installation/ removal of adapter... If permanent mounting is preferred it can be attached with suitable adhesive... If you want to be able to remove it to allow use of stock filter then it can be attached with suitable hardware
The third Reich designed the conceptBump for fourth order harmonics.
No it’s not a diesel lol ... I’ve always let my equipment warm up before use , saws included!Nice vid of the new lathe. Is it a diesel? I've never had to warm mine up
I do the same, anything with moving partsNo it’s not a diesel lol ... I’ve always let my equipment warm up before use , saws included!
This is a test for you, can you rephrase this into gentler response? Thankyouits a rather lengthy discussion, so ... no ... however feel free to do your own research ! Excellent response frank, I’m very proud of you. Keep up the good work. Stay strong my other brother in my head!Yah , I started this thread so I’m not trying to “troll you “ ... unfortunately we have differing opinions/ situations/ scenarios /expectations ... maybe it’s best to agree to disagree and move forward
