Hello this is my first posting. My question is can a crankshaft from a 272s stump grinder work in a 272xp saw. I have been to my local Husky dealer with the same question. I have even contacted Husqvarna with the same question. The only crankshaft that’s still available for the 272xp is 503613371. The crankshaft for the 272s is 503528404 that’s been discontinued. With the help from my local Husqvarna dealer we have determined that the bearings and seals are the same. Even the case is the same. So what do you guys think. Thanks again in advance.
