Trying to figure out how this kit replaces the redneckery already in place. There would seem to be a very small machine screw missing that would secure the knob (boss?) to the shaft and capture the spring between the knob and the trigger. None shown in any of the IPLs I've checked and there wasn't one in the parts bag either. Also doesn't seem to be any threads in the shaft (at least that I can see).

TIA for any info or enlightenment!

Interesting angle, but doesn't seem very permanent considering how much use it will get. And how to back it up is a real good question. The boss sets flush with the end of the shaft so there isn't anything to peen. Not sure how much flair would be achieved by using a punch..., or how easy it would be to get it out once it was driven in. Haven't found anything else on the subject, though.

Anyone else have any ideas or actually know how it's done?
