Anyone on the site here try an 8 pin .325 on a NE 346xp. Mine just seems to have plenty of power running 7 pin .325 and 18" bar with full chisel. Thanks Andy

Yep, I have an 8-pin on mine right now - but the informal tests I did showed the 7-pin was faster by a tad in 8" birch, so I probably will change it back to 7-pin (or mod the muffler).

The set-up is a 16" bar and 21LP chain.

Btw, .325 7-pin was faster than .325x8 and 3/8"x7 on the 5100S as well, but surprisingly a tad slower than on the 346xp.
