Do you have a way to stop them from leaking fuel (serious question) - I guess it doen't matter in the pickup bed. but inside a car it sure does! :greenchainsaw:

No, the 5100S in particular, maybe all Dolmars with those :monkey: fuel caps!
I have not seen any problem with them.........I see plenty of older Husky caps that leak though......The "Troll"was a bad leaker till I replaced the caps.....

The 5100S that I inherited has done it from the outset - no "pools", mostly just the odor + slight vapor marks below the cap.
I haven't posted about it "in the open" earlier, as I guessed it isn't a typical issue.
I sell alot of Husky caps and broken flip caps from some of the Stihls...

Something about that upper area of those spikes looks artificial/overdone/unnecessary. I'd have to cut them down to a normal size.
Hmmmm - selling replacements for broken Stihl flip caps may not be a good idea!
