346xpg OE next step

pretty sure my firewood saw needs crank seals. just lean scored a recently installed Meteor cylinder and piston. I have the original jug and a new piston , new carb. Jug in good shape. Should I attempt seal install myself ? ( no special tools ) send to a builder for repairs and minor porting ? sell as is and buy a new 550xpg ?

so far new coil , metal intake boot clamp , replaced fuel line and filter in the last few years.

getting closer to 70 , cutting less.

next steps ?

send it out for a full treatment. Any well ported 346xp will beat a new anything of the same size.

I'd be rebuilding it at minimum, getting it ported would be a real treat. They really wake up with a good port job and timing adjustment.

Ask @huskihl or @Red97 if intrested in fixing and maybe even port it.

With oem cylinder those OE 42mm can run with 44.3mm ported too. Mine did.
