Finally broke down and picked one up too replace my aged 254xp.

I'll be doing the usual muffler and carb adjustment mods.

Any need too change coils on this saw?

Which chain would you run 3/8 low profile or .325 on a 16" bar?

I now have, 242xp, 254xp, 346xpne, 266xp, 2 372xp's, and a 2101xp I just rebuilt so I think the collection is complete.... well maybe.

nope, and i run 3/8 full comp on mine, 16" bar.

Running .325 chisel 68dl chain with 17 inch bar on mine. Also, the 3/8 standard chain 60dl with 16 inch bar runs very well on the saw.

Ran a husqvarna branded replaceable sproket nose bar marked for 60 dl. The 59dl may work on it though. You running a husqvarna branded bar? Just curious, always like to see what all options are out there.
