372 XP muffler mod

Does anybody on here do muffler mods on this chainsaw? If so, would I need to buy a muffler and have it sent to you or could you use the old one and paint it? I can take the muffler off and put the modded one on, but don't want to ruin my saw trying to tune it.I don't have a dynometer. I'm not sure my local dealer would re-tune a modded saw.

I ust put an extra outlet on my muffler and reset the needle valves. I didn't use a dynometer. I just used my ears, a little screw driver, and a log
