Hi All,
The manual for the 372XP calls for bars of 15 inches to 28 inches. Bailey's 2004 master catalog quotes 16 inches to 32 inches. Can one use a 32 inch bar on occasion?
Thanks Doug

Sure! did you ever see the video of thf cutting a 10' redwood with a 42" bar on his 372

depends on the wood, also just how much of an 30 plus bar you are using..
and 30plus bar in my local hardwoods ,would just be more than id care to ask of the saw.. it would handle it but how long before i mabe hurt my saw.. with 20-22inch, anything is a breeze and i can do anything i do with that size bar...

Used to run a 28" bar and chain (full comp-no skip) with no problems on a 371 I no longer have. IMO 30" plus, go skip chain and you shouldn't have any problems.

I run a 28'' with full skip on my 372's in big white and yellow pine with no problems so I don't see why it wouldn't run a 32''.
