Sounds like a good excuse for all of us to start drinking then.
I don't understand this concept...we need some type of "excuse" to start drinking??
.
Ya do, go look in the mirror, thats enuff to make anyone start drinking, hahahaha
I've noodled a lot with my 372xp and it does clog up, but seem like the wood has to be wet, it has to be close to the wood (spikes right on it), and close to the ground. And even this is not every time, so it's rare.
But when it does, I just take it out of the cut and a couple revs will clear it. Throws it out the front like a noodle gun.
I'm will to bet it I wasn't so agressive in the cut, it wouldn't clog. But I cut every with like that.
I don't noodle with my 044 much, but it's clogged on me to. But I don't remember the conditions it took to make it do it. I cleared it the same way as the Husky.
If I have a lot of problems with the saw clogging on a piece or wood. I just turn the saw upside down or roll the log 180 and cut upwards.
Now my 7900 noodling is a whole different story.
That isn't really clogging, I have to tug out a handful of noodles that is trapped once in a while on all my saws, including the MS361, when noodling - takes about 2 seconds, big deal.........:bang: :bang:
Wet,
I pick on Niko, but I'll tell you what. Niko is the man. He can handle the heat.

No, it's nothing more than giving Troll a taste of his own medicine. How often does he cite examples without any experience?\
Here are several people with more experience than he who say differently than him.
If it works well for him, then ok. It doesn't work well for others and they have moved on.
There you go again Spike, classing up the place with a legitimate sober answer.
Any word on a red version of the 576?
So let me get THIS straight...you're saying it's the Energizer record?
What do you mean, "sober"?
The 2276 is expected to arrive before the first manned mission to Mars.

Niko,
Do you shut down the saw when clearing under the clutch cover?
Does anybody?
I'll go on the record as saying I normally do. I do contract word, with my hands. No hands, no work. No work, no pay. No pay, no saws. You get the idea.

I would buy a 2171 jonsered. It is cheaper than a 372xp but is the same saw in a better looking package plus it has a straight grip. Stihl 441 is an ugly clumbsy saw. Husqvarna 575xp is a very smooth powerful saw but is a little heavier than a 2171-372 but it does have more power. I laugh at what people say about 575xp's when they haven't even ran one-They WILL outcut a ms441 or a 372xp no matter what most of the cheerleaders out there believe. They ARE a little heavier than a 372xp but it would take a complete wimp to complain about it-it feels like about a pound difference. My 575xp running a 24" bar will out cut my 2171 jonsered running a 20" bar every time in hard wood-in soft wood it is less noticable but will still ot cut it. Look at the World logging championships in Germany that was held this year. More people used a 575xp or a ms460 than any other saw-noboby (or nobody that place anyways) used a ms441-because they suck, and very few used a dolmar 7900. check it out-

P.S. Buy a Jonsereds 70E- mine will out a 670 champ stock vs. stock

You are the first here to speak so highly about the 575 , did you mean 576? Hope so.......
