555 carb rebuild help

So I decided to get into the 555 that I recently bought . The cylinder cleaned up easy and looks great , new meteor on the way . anyway , I popped the covers off the el 49 and found both sides stiff and crinkley . My question is , what carb kit do I need ? Mike acres site shows the 555 having an el 44 , so I'm not sure if the carb has been changed at some point , or the info on acres site is wrong . Looking for kit info and any other things I should look out for when rebuilding this a/t carb . Thanks

There are a few carburetors used on the 555. You need the rebuilt kit RB-181 for the C1M-EL49.
