Hey all, first post, been lurking for a while doing research. I just recently acquired a 562xp and was in the process of following the manual for running the saw in the winter.

From the manual:
The intermediate wall is designed so it can be adjusted for
running in cold weather, so that preheated air from the
cylinder can pass into the carburetor space preventing
icing of the air filter, etc. Lift off the air filter to obtain better
access. Use a screwdriver to carefully knock away the
plug in the partition
.

IMPORTANT! If the temperature rises above 23°F (-
5°C) or 32°F (0°C) respectively, the starter housing
cover MUST be removed and the accompanying plug,
part. no. 503 40 59-01
fitted in the hole in the partition
wall. Otherwise there is a risk of overheating, resulting
in severe damage to the engine.
So I followed the instructions and knocked away the plug, cleaned out the knockout with a knife and discovered the rubber plug that is part number 503 40 59-01 that goes back in to this whole is way to big to fit. With calipers I measured the hole as 1/2" and the rubber plug fits about a 3/4" hole. Anyone else had this experience? Little disappointed it doesn't work like my 346xp which is just a rotatable flap.

Any advice or help appreciated.

Thanks, Jeff
