Been on a small shopping spree this weekend and I picked up a few nice saws. One a very clean 028 super from an elderly couple, still on its original chain, pretty much on its last sharpen, so really not much use at all. The other a nice 630 super 2. It feels very solidly built and I've been wanting a Jonsered for a while! I seem to remember reading a larger husqvarna cylinder and piston would fit? I've not tuned a chainsaw before so was wondering about doing an exhaust mod and upgrading the pot/piston as a starter? Would be nice to make it the best it can be but my other thought is it'd be a shame to mess with a nice stock saw? Aswell I also have a 162se already in bits that requires crank seals and has a leaking fuel tank so maybe have a first go at this and see how easy it is and how it turns out?!!
