Hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone has used a metal car port to cover there wood with and if so how do you like it. I was thinking of getting one the size is 18' by 21' and the side are 5' and I was thinking of putting my owb in side of it and use the rest of it for wood storage

I am planning on ordering one in the next few weeks

Not going to put it over my owb.. Just beside it.. Going to go 16x28 or longer.. But with seven foot sides.. I am not going to be bumping my noggin..

There are lots of those in use around here for wood sheds. Could be because the zoning narks have yet to code them like they did yard barns. Still $795 I think, or was it $695?

I bought one cheap from a Hardware store that was going out of business and it is the 18x21 model. I sprayed the ground for termites, then put down plastic sheeting to keep the ground moisture from coming up, and then a layer of gravel, followed by a treated 2x4 boards and finally some rough sawn pine that I sprayed with termite spray and then finally a mixture of diesel fuel and oil. I have purchased enough metal to close in the sides and ends but do not yet have it installed.

Here is a picture of the day we started my woodburner up last fall and you can see the carport and wood - along with the fellow I bought the Woodmaster from.
