It can be ground to a round profile on that grinder. It can not be square ground on it.

Thanks for the help. I was give two loops of this chain. It cuts like a bandit.
I'll re-grind it. I have nothing to loose.....

sure your chain will fit right up on your tomatec or what ever standard grinder. but your grinder will grind your square cut into a round cut.

in fact a lot of folks do this exact thing. mostly because there is NO ... that's right zero reasonably priced square chain grinders.

it's either belly up a $1,000 for a base line Silvey square grinder or be extremely lucky to find a used square grinder.

lucked out and found my Simington 450 for $250 + $40 shipping. asked no questions and jumped on it. one of the best investments I've ever made!

I have ground most of my 72CJX into round ground.
