I want some 75 foot ropes for smaller climbs but the idea of cutting a new 150' rope in half is killing me. Is this truly the only way?

My 27m Imori came from an offcut bin, had a spliced eye added and was still half the price of buying the standard 30m with eye

As annoying as it is to get a 150' of rope out for a 30' climb I still deal with it. I've thought many times about getting a shorter rope but I already carry more gear than fits in the toolboxes. I don't want to take up to much more bed space.

But I will also add that Treestuff sells by the foot.

I only buy a 600' spool, but I have 9 climber's,,,3 spools so far this year.
If it was just for you, I would still buy a spool and have any size rope at anytime and you would not have to buy more rope for a long time.
