The decompression valve on my 7900 pops back out as soon as I start to pull on the cord. Normally I don't use it, but I read that they have recoil problems if the decompression isn't used. Do they make valves that require more pressure before popping back out? I'm thinking about switching this one with the one on my Solo that doesn't pop out until the saw is running.

May want to drill out the vent passage a bit if possible, found that was the cure for my bad acting 066.

Thanks! I'm going to cut a few cords over the weekend, and then I'll try your suggestions.
