Should I just buy a Husky bar and grind out the slot or see if they still have this bar converstion kit?:bang: I have 2 920's.I need to get a 36" bar.I tried searching on here for past post's but did come up with any thing.Thank-you.

They really call for the Oregon D024 pattern, like my 621, but the large Husky (D009) probably will work great - as you said you may have to widen the slot a bit - but no big deal......

No reason to, the difference is really small - in some cases thet fit without any adjustments at all......

All I have been using are D009 mounts on the 621 and the 920. I haven't had to alter them at all.

D023=9.5mm
D024=10.0mm
D096=9.5mm
D196=9.5mm
FWIW a D009 mount will work fine on a Stihl chainsaw if you remove the shoulder on the bar stud.

At least on some models, you will need to open the slot for the chain tension adjuster also.........

You are very correct on that SawTroll, I forgot to mention that when I posted that information. Not very hard to do though. You are definitely on top of your game!
