Advertising Lion's Tailing?

There is a website I found at :

Elite Tree Service Inc - tree care since 1949

if you goto their site and click on gallery, you'll see alot of "Before & After" pictures, and to me, they look horrible.

Why would they advertise this?

Some of those trees do look pretty well stripped in the after pictures. They have have a Certified Arborist and have been around for over 50 years. I wonder if they are in this forum.

All the before pic's look better than the after and to top it off, the season later pic's show a tree with vigorous growth.
I saw heading cut's and the lion tailing, and it seem's his customer base are those that pay by the pound. Seem's his Dad is old school and teaching it to his son, Matt.
Doubt he is on here or he would know better.

4% the diameter of the parent limb. not exactly ansi standard, close enough for california's central valley though.
