The 395 develops more power due to improved carburation..but the cylinder dia. is the same as the 394.

These guys are talking about the 395 big bore kit from Bailey's (58mm diameter cylinder and piston.)

Also, the carburetor on the 395 has a smaller main jet. A good upgrade is find a carb for a 2100 and put your 395 linkages in it.
 
By gum...there is a 58mm BB...just checked it Baileys. I stand corrected..that ought to be a real ripper..

My 394 exhaust flange was broken too. Had it tig welded then machined flat. Kinda costly if you dont know the right people. The welder and machinist usually get close to 50$+ a hour.
