My 13 year old dogwood is sick! I noticed this year that a few branches did not have blooms and the leaves have died. The rest of the tree bloomed and the leaves seem fine (for now). The only unusual thing I see is gray/white discolorations on the bark. I am worried because my neighbor across the street has a dogwood like mine that looks dead except for a few branches. He said this is the first spring this happened for him. He sprayed his with some chemical but didn't remember the name. My dogwood is about 20ft high and both the wildlife and I would hate to lose my beautiful tree (It is the shape of perfection). Please help me before my tree looks like my neighbors!
