Air injection/ turbo 268/670?

Did the 630/670 or 262/266/268 ever have this type of air filtration?

The 262xp had it from the beginning (1990).

The others you listed belonged to the larger and heavier "162-family" of saws, and did not have it.

so only the 262 had it. what family of saws was it in? is it in the 154/254/257 class? I thought the 630 and the 61/162/261/262/266/268 were all the same basic saw with minor differences and some cylinder differences.

Right, that "family" is 154se, 254, 262xp, 254xp, 257 and 261, in order of introduction.

These saws are smaller and lighter than the 162 "family".

From the 262xp and further on, they had Air Injection.

was the 630 with the 154 family. I thought you could bolt 262 parts to a 630?

No, all the different versions of the 630, 670 and 625 belong to the 162 family (162se, 61, 61 Rancher, 66, 266se, 266xp, 268se, 268xp, 272xp, 268).

Some parts from the 262xp may fit, but not many, I believe.

Btw, the 262xp is still a current model in Russia, but the power output is slightly downrated.
