Good day folks.
I last yr changed out my woodstove with one that had baffles one way then another. Burnt about 35% less wood. So I have to remove the stove pipe to clean it out. I do this twice a yr. once in the fall and then after new yr. Just me. My problem is it's a PITA to remove the pipe and reinstall.
I have found a slip coupling that would allow the pipe to slide up and down up to 6", so it would be super easy to remove the flue pipe.
My stock coupling that goes into my DuraTech all fuel ceiling support just pushes up male into FM about 2". I have screwed all my flue pipe with 3 screws per joint. BUT I have never screwed the adapter to the All Fuel Adapter which is SS. I was always told never screw into the inner or outer SS.
Would it be OK to just put a few screws from the inside of the adapter to the inside of the all fuel pipe?
