Almost every chainsaw I own leaks plenty of bar oil every time I move it.

I have three Stihls, that weird Senix four stroke saw, and an 80v Kobalt saw. The Kobalt is the worst leaker, by far.
Yeah, my Kobalt 80 volt saw and also my Kobalt pole saw leak. But I had an old echo saw, a Remington, and Stihl models 038 Super, MS 441C and now a 500i. None of them leaked, and they did have oil in them.
 
My 359 leaked from day one. I did the hose fix and it was maybe 50% better. It is plagued with incontinence 😅

In my experience some thinner bar oils seem to leak worse, cheaper dino is better and thicker.
