and what happens when you go to recrotch and WHOOPS! your line falls to the ground and you are stuck there?:D
 
Then you are stuck good. I try to make it a habit when recroching to tie the rope with enough slack to either me or a nearby limb.

I never work alone. I feel that there is too much risk and I always seem to need something I left on the ground, right when I get to the top. I have several guys that work for me, and at 10 an hour, it is cheap insurance.

Then you use your second line to climb with. And lj if you can send some of those $10./hr. guys over here we'll put em to work. Here you can't find anyone sober who speaks english for that.
Climbing alone is overall not good policy but if you're prepared for contingencies it can work out fine.
