Any one have any experience burning Amur Maple? It's wood so I'll burn it but wondering if it's worth my time or not. My wife has some 10" diameter ones at her workplace and they are non-native invasive so she wants them gone. I tried searching some but can't find much info on it as far as firewood or hardness.

Normally its not considered as a firewood tree because it rarely grows big enough to be worth messing with. It is a hard, slower growing Maple variety so I'd imagine it would be good firewood. I've personally only seen a handful of trees big enough to even think of splitting for firewood. The smaller diameters are usually so full of small twigs and little branches that it all gets stuffed in the chipper
