dude you should learn how to sharpen a chain for real. that's way too sharp, and it will dull quicker.

I'm fairly good at Aluminum Tig.

I'd like to see some pics. I could easily see running continual beads outside the jug, grooving, and then covering, to create an external transfer port.

Unless you plan to have the cylinder relined using a piece of conduit and then tacking it in spots and devcon is better to not warp the jug. Silly putty works to be covered and not stick to the devcon and stuff.
