ANOTHER HEATMOR QUESTION

Since the weighted pop off valve is supposed to keep pressure at 2-3 lbs. why does it only weigh 1/4 lb.?

Maybe it takes 2-3 lbs pressure to "lift" 1/4 lbs? I weigh 190 but I can only lift 100 lbs, makes sense to me.

you weakling!! lol. totally kidding. actually you can lift 290 lbs. remember your lifting yourself plus the 100

seriously though. i think your totally right about the weight to pressure ratio. since the pressure is measured in pounds per square inch, not by weight.

Another question:
Do you guys set your water temps according to the Aquastat or by the Temp gauge?
They are different on mine. Partly I suppose because the a-stat is in the rear and the gauge is in the front.

Aquastat and I have no idea how accurate it is and it really doesn't matter as long as my wife is warm enough.
