I have yet to see a large one around here. I know they have to exist someplace, but no keepers so far.
 
I paid attention today as I was tooling around in the tractor. largest I can see, if it is locust and it has the leaves and pods for it at least, is only around six inch diameter or so. Perhaps it is another species, but I have yet to see any serious big tree size ones.

Not looking in the right direction. We've lots of BIG locusts up this way. Happen to have some that's been air-drying facing south a couple or three years, waiting for Jan-Feb.

OP's got to get those rounds split pronto. The lower MC, the better it burns.
