Do all tractors come with a 3 point hitch that you can mount a winch on ?
If not how much does it cost to get one put on (roughly) ?
Also are there brands of tractors to stay away from ? There's so many to choose from.

All NEW tractors that are ment for farm or landscape use have 3 point hitches. Bad ones?? not really, I have a preferance for john deere and newholland.

After reading what Ryan has (Deere 5210) discussed in your other thread, I would second his choice and only add that you check out the quick connect system Deere has between their loader bucket and forks. Also, removing and hooking up the loader is only a 1-2 minute task. Deere also has an armor kit to cover the belly and the other vulnerable parts if needed (and likely good for woods work).

The woods kit you are refering to is $3500 but that includes a cage around the operator, a VERY good idea! I have the quick connect for my forks and bucket and that is the only way to go!

another tractor question

My humble opinion, which no one ask for:
the roll cage will save your life -
you may never need it -
the one time you do, you will appreciate the validity
of the above and others previous comments.
You'll never know how much it means to you,
unitl you wish you had it.
Quick disconnect is wonderful for use.
Have a great evening and be safe!
