Hello!

Was looking for info, could only find scattered bits that while, indeed making me drool more, wasn't enough to get me started...

Is there some Basic Modding HowTo out there? A Newbie Dictionary maybe...

I hope I don't sound too dumb!! :)

Learning the basics 's what I mean.
It's actually only my 3rd winter cutting our firewood myself - I got so much good info and support on AS that helped me get started, and I feel it is time to let both me AND my saw breath more freely!

I run an Oleomac (like the Olympic, different name) 947 (45cc), a home chores saw... Did a good job of cutting a few dry eucs, but both of us felt some more muscle would have been appriciated.

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the sight
It has been covered here many times before. Do searches on muffler mod, port timing, and squish in the chainsaw section and read as much as you can before you start cutting.

And have fun.

Sean

Thanks man,
Already started learning. I believe I can get my hands on a TIG welder and soon this little saw will inhale deeply.
